Description	:	Following is an obituary in addition to the account of the services held at the St. Paul Church published earlier. Peter Adolph Anderson passed away August 28 at the Northridge hospital, Northridge, Cal., after a long illness, age 75 years, 8 months and 7 days. He was born in Union County on December 21, 1885, of parents, Paul and Anna Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed in the St. Paul Lutheran Church of which he had always been a member. Read More	Following is an obituary in addition to the account of the services held at the St. Paul Church published earlier. Peter Adolph Anderson passed away August 28 at the Northridge hospital, Northridge, Cal., after a long illness, age 75 years, 8 months and 7 days. He was born in Union County on December 21, 1885, of parents, Paul and Anna Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed in the St. Paul Lutheran Church of which he had always been a member. On March 10, 1915, he was married to Leora Hatcher of Sioux City, Ia. He received his schooling in Union County, Augustana Academy and N.B.T. Business College. He taught school, worked in Sioux City and farmer for 30 years in Sioux Valley Township before he took public office in 1945 at Elk Point. He held county office from 1945 until 1959 with the exception of two years when he worked for the Farmers Elevator in Akron. In 1959 when his health failed, they moved to Reseda, Cal. Pastor Roseland formerly of this community, officiated at the Lorenzen Chapel service, Reseda, Cal., on August 29. One daughter, Mrs. Donna-belle Moe as unable to attend services here because of injuries sustained in and accident while enroute from California. Honorary pallbearers were A.G. Peterson, N.P.
