He was a retired school teacher, teaching at Wichita North High for many years. He was born 09 February 1889 at Canton, Kansas, son of Charles H. and Melissa Paxson Way. He married Lillian Young, 25 October 1816 in McPherson and she is one of the survivors. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
