Mrs. Dresher was born 31 August 1881 on a farm two miles west of Canton.She spent her entire life in the Canton community and was married on the home place. Her home at the time of her death was just across the road from her birth place. Her parents were C.H. Way and Mrs. Melissa Paxson Way. She was married to G.C. Dresher on 12 April 1905, and he is one of the survivors. Mrs. Dresher was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors besides the husband include three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Ford, Preston Minn.; Mrs. Florence Wachholtz, 123 North Charles, McPherson; Mrs. Dorothy Richards, Waldo, Kans,; one son, Donald Dresher, Windom; three brothers, M.M. Way, Fowler, Kans.; C.B. Way Lakeland, Fla., and P. Ben Way, Wichita; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Thompson, Fairview, Okla., and nine grandchildren.
