Description	:	Fowler Rites Tomorrow Funeral services for Quincy Fowler, 73,1026 Oak street, who died unexpectedly yesterday afternoon at his home will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Stanton chapel with Dr. Harold Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. IOOF Lodge No. 5 will conduct graveside services and Fleming-Jackson-Seever American Legion Post No. 6 will present the flag. Mr. Fowler was born May 11, 1897, in St. Joe, a son of W.C. and Olive Ella Lucas Fowler, and as a boy attended St. Joe schools. He was employed by the Pillsbury Co. here from 1923 until he retired in 1962, and before moving to Atchison worked for a packing plant in St. Joe. He was a member of the First Christian church, IOOF Lodge No. 5, and the Encampment Branch of the lodge, and of Fleming-Jackson-Seever American Legion Post No. 6. Mr. Flower enlisted in the Army in September of 1918, and was discharged in October 1919, following World War I. He and the former Ethel Johnson were married in 1913. She died Jan. 14, 1969. On Aug. 2, 1968, he and Sylvia Jessip were married at St. Mark's Lutheran church. Surviving are Mrs. Flower of the home; his stepdaughter, Mrs. Hannah Flower, Atchison, a brother, Leslie Flower, Atchison; three grandchildren he helped rear, Mike Daniel, Bruce Daniel, and Virginia Daniel, all of Atchison, and three great grandchildren.
