Description	:	Rachel A. Thompson first married Martin Shoup (1803-1860) at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on December 9, 1830. There were seven children from this marriage. Around 1840 the family moved to Miami County, Ohio where Martin Shoup died in 1860. Rachel then married (second) Caleb Reeder in Miami County, Ohio on February 17, 1863 before they moved with some of her children to Auglaize County, Ohio where they are both buried in St. John's Cemetery in Auglaize County, Ohio.
