Description	:	Ralph achieved many accomplishments during his lifetime centering around his family, community, church and country. Ralph graduated from Plattsmouth High School at the young age of 16 in 1946. In 1948 he entered the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and in 1952 he graduated with a BS in Agriculture. He was then drafted in to the military serving in the US Army from 1952-1954 in the Veterinary Corps as a meat inspector at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church where he was baptized and confirmed. He served on Church Council as treasure & president and served as Sunday School Superintendent of many years. Ralph was part of 4-H for most of his life. He joined 4-H as a young boy and continued through college. He was a 4-H leader of 24 years. He served on the Cass County Extension Board and the 4-H Council. Ralph was elected to the Plattsmouth School Board in 1964. He was involved with the Plattsmouth Band Parents for many years. He served as treasure for the PTA receiving a Life Time Membership Award. Ralph was involved in the Kass Kounty King Korn Karnival serving as the president and Corn Chairman. He was Lord of the Realm in 1995 and King in 2001. Ralph was involved in the Plattsmouth Cub Scouts Pack 399 and the Boy Scout Troop 477. Ralph was a member of Plattsmouth Masonic Lodge No. 6 AF & AM and was Master Mason in 1964. Past President of Nebraska Chapter No. 3 Royal Arch Masons Adoniram Council No. 5 Cryptic Masons & Mount Zion Commandery No. 5 Knights Templar. Ralph and Maxine Helen Steinbart were married on November 18, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. They are the parents of 6; Cheryl, Debra, David, Daryl, Michael & Jeffery.
