Mrs. R. S. Hutchinson accompanied the singers. The pallbearers were: Clair Reynoldson, Harold Dufoe, Dick McBride, Glen McBride, Eugene Bantz and Ray Reynoldson. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery. The services at the church were preceded by short services at the Alfred Potter residence. Rayburn Marcus Cornwell, son of William F. and Maud L. Cornwell, was born near Pinnacle Hill, Nebraska, March 30, 1908, and died at Albion Wednesday, May 13, 1942, at the age of 34 years, one month and 13 days. His whole life was spent in Boone county. He received his education in the Pinnacle Hill and Plum Center district school and the Cedar Rapids high school He was a great help to his father on the farm and a comfort to his parents. He came to Albion in 1936 where he operated a filling station until the time of his death.He was maried to Leona A. Cook October 21, 1937, and to them two daughters were born, Donna Rae and Lavonne Mae. He was a kind and loving husband and father and had a host of friends and few if any enemies. When a boy he united with the Pinnacle Hill Methodist church and was a member of that church at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and two little daughters; his mother, Mrs. Maude Cornwell; three brothers, Cecil of Belgrade, Fred of Albion and Ben of Crumpler, North Carolina; and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Sebastian, of Cedar Rapids.
