Description	:	Glen Everett Beachy was born May 30, 1918 near Kalona, Iowa the son of Ananias and Ella Beachy. In his youth he accepted Christ and became a member of the Old Order Amish Church in which he was ordained a minister on April 17, 1981 and remained faithful until death. He was united in marriage to Susan Mae Yoder on January 2, 1947. Glen died on Monday, April 27, 2009 at his home in rural Kalona at the age of 90 years, 10 months and 28 days. Miller of Sarasota, FL; Mary, Mrs David L. Miller of Partridge, KS; Esther, Mrs Henry Zook of Kalona. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren; a great grandchild; and 3 brothers Ray, John and Jonas. The family would like to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness shown them at the time of his illness and death. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Alvin Beachy residence at 2270 105th St. in rural Kalona. Minister in charge was Paul T. Miller. Burial was in the Peter Miller Cemetery.
