They took homesteads in Willow Creek district west of what is now Claresholm. In 1905 Robert married Lillie Nichols of Granum, and in 1906 their first child was born, but she only lived for three days. A son, Robert Louis was born a year later in 1907. ... They took homesteads in Willow Creek district west of what is now Claresholm. In 1905 Robert married Lillie Nichols of Granum, and in 1906 their first child was born, but she only lived for three days. A son, Robert Louis was born a year later in 1907. The winter of 1909, Bob and Jack Williams decided to go to Montana to look for land. They purchased and homesteaded land near Fort Benton, and in the spring of 1910 they moved there. Bob and Jack Williams each driving a wagon and Mrs. Stevenson driving a buggy. Four more children were born in Montana. Robert passed away in 1935, and Mrs. Stevenson in 1969." The following information on the daughter of Robert & Lillie" daughter was also provided by Cecile Bys Margaret May Stevenson She married very young to Donald Dee Wolfe in 1928 and they had a son, Arthur L. Wolfe, who was born around 1930. Margaret May and Donald divorced and he remarried in 1932 to Hilda Fatz. There is a record of Margaret Mae with her mother, son and siblings applying for Canadian citizenship in 1932, and they were living in Vulcan, Alberta. Margaret must have stayed in Canada while her other siblings and mother returned to Montana. Margaret remarried to Glenn Neil MacLennan. It appears that she preferred to go by Mae. Margaret Mae MacLennan is buried with her second husband in Queen's Park Cemetery in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The dates on her headstone are 1912-1998.
