Description	:	Highland Recorder September 4, 1914 R. C. Bird Dead A telegram was received Wednesday by the family of C. A. Bird, Valley Center, announcing the death of R. C. Bird at Meadville, Penn. Mr. Bird was a victim of typhoid, and had been in a hospital for several weeks. His mother and brother went to see him during his illness. He was widely known as a singing evangelist, and when taken sick was so engaged. His remains will be sent to his home, reaching Sitlington, W. Va. Friday.
