"Bob" Mahloch, 71, Brownsville, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, at the Brownsville Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1932, at rural DeWitt, Neb., attended Beatrice High School, and then farmed for 25 years. In 1955, he married Arlene Holtmeier at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Harbine, Neb. In 1979, they moved to Brownsville, Texas, where they owned and operated the Tip-O-Tex RV Park. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Brownsville. Survivors: wife, Arlene; sons, Craig Mahloch and wife Melissa of Fairbury, Neb., Brad Mahloch of Brownsville, and Todd Mahloch of Houston, Texas; daughter, Amy Mahloch of New Braunfels, Texas; three granddaughters; sisters, Donna Hauptmeier and husband Willard of Beatrice, Neb., Marge Bredemeier and husband Ken of Wauconda, Illinois; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lydia (Tegtmeier) Mahloch; sisters, Elfrieda Diekmann and Myrtle Diekmann. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, First Trinity Lutheran Church, eight miles northwest of Beatrice on Highway 4, Pastor Mark Rockenbach officiating. Burial: church cemetery. Family prayer service: 1:15 p.m.Tuesday, fellowship hall of the school. A memorial has been established to the Perpetual Care Fund for First Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery with the church elders in charge. The body will lie in state at Fox Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Monday until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, and then at the church one hour preceding the service.
