Read More	FOX, RONALD EDGAR—Ronald Edgar Fox, the third of seven children of Lewis and Etta Kirst Fox, was born June 11, 1904, on the family farm in Chelsea township near Geneva. He died Wednesday, September 17, 1997, at his home in Geneva at the age of 93 years. Ronald learned the necessity of hard work at a very early age. He took great pride in farming and was an early riser, doing the livestock chores first, followed by a large breakfast and was then in the field by 6:30 a.m. His daily routine was always the same and the work was never done until the horses or machinery were properly put away for the night. Ronald attended Chelsea District No. 32 through the eighth grade, and then he helped his father and two older brothers with the faming. His parents moved to Geneva in 1929, and Ronald remained on the family farm. Then on May 17, 1930, he married a neighbor girl, Lucile Snodgrass, at York. This marriage lasted for 67 years. Ronald lived on the same section until they moved to Geneva in October of 1980, but always remained involved in the management of the farm which was his life. New cars and machinery were his pride and joy and it showed in the care that he gave to them. He was a member of the Geneva United Methodist Church. He and Lucile were generous, but most often anonymous supporters of community services and charities. Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife exactly three weeks prior to his own passing. He was also preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, two brothers, Harry and Cecil and sister, Hazel Berge. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Florence Nun; uncle, Elmer Kirst; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Edna Snodgrass, Mrs. Eva Morey, and Mrs. Frances Snodgrass; many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Funeral services were conducted from the United Methodist Church in Geneva at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 22, with Rev. Dennis Linton-Hendrick officiating. Mrs. Susan Kleinschmidt accompanied Delwin V. Myers, who sang “How Great Thou Art” and “He Touched Me.” Casket bearers were David Deepe, Dennis Deepe, Deryl Fox, Thomas Nun, Christopher Nun and Bryan Nun.
