Description	:	FOX, HARRY IRVIN—Harry Irvin Fox, son of Lewis and Etta Krist Fox, was born in Chelsea township southeast of Geneva, Neb., August 31, 1900. He passed from this life in his home in Geneva, August, 1 1972, at the age of 71 years and 11 months. Read More	FOX, HARRY IRVIN—Harry Irvin Fox, son of Lewis and Etta Krist Fox, was born in Chelsea township southeast of Geneva, Neb., August 31, 1900. He passed from this life in his home in Geneva, August, 1 1972, at the age of 71 years and 11 months. Most of his life was spent in the Chelsea community where he engaged in farming until retiring and moving to Geneva. December 31, 1928, he was united in marriage with Miss Bernice Nun. To this union were born a son, Deryl of Fairbury, Neb., and a daughter Shirley (Mrs. Clarence Peetzke) of Stromsburg, Neb. He was a lifetime and faithful member of the former United Brethren, the Evangelical United Brethren and now the United Methodist church. He was an active member of the United Methodist church in Geneva at the time of his death. He was a devoted husband and father and loved his grandchildren dearly. He was loved by all children. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, son and daughter; six grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil and Ronald of Geneva; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Nun of Geneva and Mrs. Hazel Burge of Norfolk, Neb., as well as many nephews, nieces and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Thursday, August 3, at the United Methodist church of Geneva with Rev. John E. Stayton officiated. Delwyn Myers, accompanied by Mrs. Oscar Nelson, Organist, sang “How Great Thou Art” and “In the Sweet Bye and Bye.” Pallbearers were Rodger Christiancy, Clarence Higel, Frank Koahler, Francis Nunns, Charles Stofer and Bernard Weiss.
