Mrs. Hamilton was born Oct. 27, 1923 in Plattsmouth to Marion Dalton and Mabel Mae (Arnold) Rouse. She married Harold V. Hamilton in Glenwood, Iowa on Aril 27, 1940. Born, raised and schooled in Plattsmouth, she married and traveled with her husband as he followed his work. Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker and mother. Survivors include her sons, daughters-in-law, Duane and Donna Hamilton, Kenneth and Barbara Hamilton, all of Plattsmouth; daughter, Sandra Hamilton, Plattsmouth; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters-in-law, Alfred and Dorothy Rouse, Kingston, Idaho, Virgil and Mary Rouse, Plattsmouth; sisters, brothers-in-law, Wilda Merlyn Jenkins. Clarice and Dayle Frazier, all of Plattsmouth; Janet Newburn, Vallejo, Calif., Jean and Carroll Hoppe, Plattsmouth; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in her parents; husband, Harold V. Hamilton; and grandson, Jason Hamilton. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 1999 at the Roby Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth. The Pastor Clifford Sutton will officiate. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 7 until 9 p.m. with family available from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Chuck Hamilton, Jeff Hamilton, Chad Hamilton, Jacob Shortle, Tom Vaughn, Alexander Hamilton and Travis Hamilton. Terry Little will be the soloist. Family suggests memorials to the Plattsmouth Rescue Squad. Arrangements by Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth.
