She graduated from Longford High School as the Valedictorian of her class in 1942. Roween married John Runnalls on May 31, 1946 and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2014. She waitressed at the Coachlight Restaurant for several years until she was 75. Roween loved ceramics, gardening, reading and quilting. She was also a seamstress and a great cook. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and taught Sunday School for many years. She is also preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Eileen Wolf and Glenda Dolton.
