Description	:	MRS. JERALD WOLF Eileen Marie Sheedy, the oldest daughter of John and Margaret Sheedy, was born near Industry, Kansas on June 11, 1923. She went to the Mount Olive District grade school northeast of Industry and started her high school education in Dickinson County Community high school at Chapman, Kansas. JERALD WOLF Eileen Marie Sheedy, the oldest daughter of John and Margaret Sheedy, was born near Industry, Kansas on June 11, 1923. She went to the Mount Olive District grade school northeast of Industry and started her high school education in Dickinson County Community high school at Chapman, Kansas. In March of 1938 the family moved to the Longford community so she completed her high school days at the Longford Rural high school. Eileen then taught school for five years. One year was at the Beach Glenn chool and four years at the Walker school. On May 10, 1946 she became the bride of Jerald Wolf at the home of her parents, John and Margaret Sheedy in Longford, Clay County, Kansas. Into this home came three children, Verl, who is now five years old, Bruce, who is three years old and Wava, who is six and a half months old. Their home has been two miles from Manchester. While living in the Industry community the family attended the Sunday school and church services at the E.U.B. church. During the closing weeks of her life she spoke of her trust in God and of the assurance that she was ready to go to be with God. Day by day she read her Bible for guidance and help. Eileen was a kind and faithful wife and mother and made a good home for her family, quietly caring for the needs of her husband and children. She always was concerned to have things in their places. Her health began to fall about two years ago. All that medical skill could do was done. She came to the completion of this earthly life at 12:50 p.m. on March 28, 1955 in St. John's hospital at Salina, Kansas. The length of her life was 31 years, nine months and 17 days. Those who feel the loss of her death the most are her husband, Jerald, her two sons, Verl and Bruce and her daughter Wava of the home near Manchester, Kansas, her parents, John and Margaret Sheedy of Longford, Kansas; her, three sisters, Roween Runnalls of Longford, Kansas, Glenda Dolton of Enterprise, Kansas and Donna Jean Faidley of Oak Hill, Kansas; as well as many other relatives and a large number of friends. The funeral service was held in the Longford Evangelical United Brethren church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 1955, with the pastor, the Rev. Herbert A. Iwig, in charge. Mrs. Lucile Bender accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ted McCready as they sang "Face to Face", "Beyond the Sunset" and "Sometime We'll Understand". The pallbearers were Dwight Sollner, Myron Greep, David Bartlett, Lloyd Ord, George Hall and John Bender. Burial was in Athelstane Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas.
