Walter Bruch of Armstrong, formerly of Pocahontas, was deacon; the Rev. A. McCoy of Pomeroy, sub-deacon; and the Rev. Robert Fangman, LeMars, master of ceremonies. The Rev. Thomas Nash, local pastor, gave the sermon. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Casket bearers were William F. Allen, Bob Sernett, Jerome Nedved, Jack Payer, Dennis Poduska, and Joe Reigelsberger. Mr. Zeman died Wednesday evening in Mercy Hospital at Ft. Dodge. He was taken there on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack while doing chores on his farm. In 1924 he married Libbie Stanek of Chelsea, who survives as do four children, John and Robert Zeman of Pocahontas, the Rev. Gerald Zeman of LeMars, and Mrs. Don Auten of Rolfe, and eight grandchildren. Other survivors are two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Louis Behounek of Livermore, Mrs. John Schnetter of Laurens, Charles Zeman of Rolfe, and George Zeman of Clarks Grove, Minn.
