WITTMUSS Ruth was born April 18, 1914 to Edith and Ad Reis at Richfield, NE. She attended Sarpy Center Grade School and the M. E. Church near Richfield. In 1931 she graduated from Papillion High School. Later that year she married Don L. Horn. He preceded her in death in 1958 and their daughter, Donna Ruth, one year later. Ruth married Albert Wittmuss in October of 1962. She spent her life in Papillion, was a member of Eastern Star, Kenningston and a 78-year member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She was dedicated to Bethany Circle and was noted for her quilting and baking. In February of 2003 Ruth moved to Tucson, AZ to live with her daughter, Sandra Bader. She passed from this life on March 19, 2004. A Celebration of Life Service will be held APRIL 17, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Papillion. Ruth was preceded in death by husband Don L. Horn, daughter Donna Ruth Thurman, second husband Albert E. Wittmuss. She is survived by Daughter, Sandra Bader, Grandchildren Jeff, Allison, Jerry and Betsy. Also survived by step-children, LuRee and Wilbert. A total of 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, friends, nieces and nephews. Memorials to St. Paul's United Methodist Church Building Fund.
