She joined the M.E. church at the age of 28 years. Although deprived of church privileges most of the time, she tried to live a Christian life, being a kind and loving daughter, ever looking after the welfare of her aged parents, and lending a helping hand to brother and sisters, speaking kind words to all, ever showing a loving disposition. She leaves an aged father and mother, one brother and two sisters to mourn her loss. Oh, Ella! thou wast taken so suddenly from us; but we will ever cherish thy memory, and hope to meet thee again.
