Crammer, was born October 14th, 1848, in Crammertown, New Jersey. Closing a severe illness, she parted this life at her home in Prescott, Iowa, March 11th, 1931, age 82 years, four months, and twenty-seven days. When but a girl she pioneered to that new country, Iowa. She was united in holy matrimony to William R. Wilson, in Johnson county, March 28, 1867. To this union were born seven children; five daughters, Mrs. Edith Young, Beatrice, Nebraska, Mrs. Maude Carey, Lorimor, Iowa, Mrs. Ruth Florence, Lebanon, South Dakota, Mrs. Lucy Johnson, Prescott and Etta, who died infancy; and two sons, Matt and George, both of Prescott, Iowa. She is the last charter member of the Prescott Christian church, organized in 1884. She was a continual student of the Bible and a faithful member of the church, loyal to her Savior Jesus Christ. She was likewise a charter member of the Missionary Society, then a Pioneer unpopular movement, known as C.W.B.M. She was a charter member of both the old and the new organizations of Clover-leaf Rebekah Lodge No. 495. She is survived by a sister, Anna E. Allstot, of Lowell, Arkansas; a brother, Frank Crammer, Pomona, Kansas; her six children; nine grandchildren, and twenty-seven great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. The entire community mourns the passing of our good citizen, Mother Wilson, whose cheery greeting and friendly ……. greatly missed. Mother Wilson was one of the sturdy characters who found her chief interest in the home life, although she was always ready to minister to the needs of friends and neighbors. She was a good woman and one whose life was a splendid influence to those about her. Funeral services were held at the Christian church on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Earl C. Lewis. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery. Relatives and friends from a distance who attended the funeral were Mrs. Ruth Florence, Lebanon, South Dakota; Mr. and Mrs. James Young, Beatrice, Nebraska; Mr. and Mrs. George Carey and daughter Ethel and Mr. and Mrs. Ora Berry of Lorimor, Iowa; Frank Crammer and Guy Crammer of Pomona, Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. Will McIlravy and Fred Holben, of Lenox; Mrs. Whitlock, Mrs. Haynes and Mrs. Anderson of Corning; Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Allison, of Henderson; Mr. and Mrs. B.U. Altaffer of Red Oak and Mrs. J.R. Ewing of Creston.
