Description	:	MRS. KING DEAD Mrs. Benjamin Kind died Monday of old age at her home on West Fourth Street. She had reached the advanced age of 80 years and 23 days and had up to a year ago enjoyed the best of health, but since that time her health has been failing. Her made name was Sarah Kees, and she was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, November 26, 1823. Read More	MRS. KING DEAD Mrs. Benjamin Kind died Monday of old age at her home on West Fourth Street. She had reached the advanced age of 80 years and 23 days and had up to a year ago enjoyed the best of health, but since that time her health has been failing. Her made name was Sarah Kees, and she was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, November 26, 1823. In young girlhood he moved with her parents to near Peoria, Illinois, and lived there curing the Black Hawk war. She afterwards moved to near Burlington, where she was united in marriage to Benjamin King in 1840. She moved to this city about 12 years ago, but had been a resident of Iowa for about sixty years. She gave birth to eight children, seven of whom survive. Their names are Taylor, George, and Columbus King, and Mrs. J. L. Holland, all of Villisca and vicinity; Mrs. Elizabeth Peckham of Hillsboro, Iowa; Mrs. Lucinda LeCornu of Washington, and John King of Genoa, Nebraska. All the children have been notified of the death of their mother and are expected to attend the obsequies, which will be held from the M. E. Church, probably Saturday afternoon, Rev. C. J. English officiating. Mrs. King became a member of the M. E. Church in young childhood and lived faithfully to her vows all her life, and has now entered into her eternal rest.
