Description	:	Mrs. Jacob L. Holland, who went to Omaha about three weeks ago where she underwent an operation for tumor at the Methodist Hospital, died there Saturday morning at 2:30 o’clock. Apparently the operation was successful and Mrs. Holland was recuperating, but complications developed and her death followed very suddenly and unexpectedly. Ruth Ella King, daughter of Benjamin King and Sarah Keys, was born at New London, Iowa on December 15, 1861 and was 61 year of age at the time of her death on died on April 6, 1922. Her early life was spent in the community where she was born, and she was there united in marriage to Jacob Holland on December 28, 1881. To this union one son, Curtis Holland of Villisca was born, who with the father survives the wife and mother. There are also two grandchildren, Hortense and Maxine Holland, one sister, Lucinda LaCorns of Walla Walla, Washington, two brothers, John King of Ashland, Nebraska and Columbus C.King of Villisca. Mrs. Holland was a member of the Methodist Church since early life. She had been a resident of Villisca and vicinity for more than thirty years. The funeral was held in the Methodist Church Monday afternoon, with Rev. J. L. Boyd in charge of the service. The pall bearers were Clint and H. A. Powers, J. F. Taylor, O. M. Moody, J. M. Copeland, and A. R. Means and interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. Those here from a distance to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cornice, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Mathews, Mt.
