Description	:	Mrs. Sarah Boyle died 21 July 1895, aged 75. She was the mother of Patrick Boyle, of Atchison, Kan. She was born 5 April 1820 in Carlisle Cumberland, England. In 1840, in Liverpool, England, she married Peter Boyle & in 1844, they came to the US, arriving in New Orleans. Lived there until 1846. Later moved to DeKalb, MO. & lived there for 8 years. In 1854, they moved to Kansas, then a territory, locating on a 160 acre farm near Atchison, Kan. In Oct of 1894, she came to St. Joseph, MO., with her daughter, Mrs. T. L. McCormick.... "Mrs. Sarah Boyle, an old resident of Atchison, died in St. Joe Monday. The remains were shipped here last evening at 6:30 and the funeral will occur at 3 p.m. from the residence of J. K. Boyle, 818 North Second Street. Mrs. Boyle was an old resident of these parts, having come here in 1854.
