Description	:	Mrs. Sarah "Sally" Gruver Snyder Finnegan, 77, died Sunday at her home at 404 North Ninth Street. She had been ill since Tuesday. Funeral services will be tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. at St. Benedict's church with the Rev. Anthony Reilman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The rosary will be cited at 7 p.m. by St. Ann's Altar Society at the Harouff - Buos Funeral Home. She was married there [Holton] in 1901 [26 June] to George [Hamilton] Snyder who was a photographer in Atchison for many years. A few years after his death [in 1932], she and Francis Raymond Finnegan were married September 9, 1936, and continued to live in Atchison. Mrs. Finnegan was a member of the Altar Society at St. Benedict's and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She had a large circle of friends and was a wonderful neighbor. She is survived by her husband, Frances Raymond Finnegan, of the home, four nieces, Mrs. John Campbell, Mrs. George Yaoger, and Mrs. Ed Dykeman and Mrs. Dykeman and Mrs. Arnold Sinning and a nephew, Percy D. Haag, all of Holton. Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Florentine Finnegan of St. Louis, and Mrs. Thomas Brown of Topeka and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. John Gruver, Los Angeles and Mrs. William Gruver, Wyoming. One sister and four brothers preceded her in death.
