Description	:	Sarah M York was the 6th child of William and Millie Apperson York. The actual birthdate of Sarah is not known. Charles G York, her younger brother and informant for the death certificate information gave her age as "about 72" while her obituary read "more than 70." In 1870 she was shown as 10; the 1880 census showed her as 18 or born 1862; however her younger sister Dollie was born 1862. So she was probably born 1860. She never married. She resided in Sedalia, Mo. Her sister Nancy Amelia York Walterscheidt came to live with her after her husband died in 1924. Nancy died in March 1937 and Sally died Oct 4, 1937. They were both buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia. She was a member of the East Sedalia Baptist Church.
