Description	:	November 29, 1944 Indianola Tribune Savannah [Savanah] T. Leap, youngest daughter of Samuel and Mary Lockridge, was born in Warren county near the town of Greenbush on Nov. 30, 1855, and died Nov. 6, 1944, having attained the age of 88 years, 11 months, and 7 days. On March 6, 1876, she was united in marriage to Samuel T. Leap. To this union one son, Roy R. Leap, was born. Her son died Feb. 11, 1903, at the age of 22 years. In March, 1884, she moved to Spring Hill and remained there until five years ago when her health became impaired and she was taken to Clarinda where she passed away. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Catharine Davidson, of Spring Hill and a number of relatives and friends. The funeral service was held at the church in Spring Hill, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Herrod, pastor of the Norwalk Christian church. Burial was in the Webb cemetery. # # # November 10, 1944 Indianola Record Nov 7 – Word was received Monday of the death of Mrs. Vanna Leap at the hospital in Clarinda. Funeral services will be held at the Galloway Funeral Home in Norwalk on Thursday at 2 o'clock.
