Mr. Siebens was born October 4, 1895, at Akron, Iowa, to Esdert and Gasky Huls Siebens. He married Nellie Mae Adams, February 20, 1918, at Akron. She died in 1978. SIEBENS Sieben E. Siebens, 92, Sequim, Washington, formerly of Akron, Iowa, died Friday, December 18, 1987, at a hospital at Sequim. Mr. Siebens was born October 4, 1895, at Akron, Iowa, to Esdert and Gasky Huls Siebens. He married Nellie Mae Adams, February 20, 1918, at Akron. She died in 1978. He served in the Army during World War I in England. He moved back to Akron in 1918. The couple farmed near Akron for 59 years. He retired and moved into Akron in 1966. He moved to Sequim in 1980, where he entered a nursing home. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, was past master of Freedom Lodge 434 of Akron, was a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory,a nd of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Survivors include two sons, Rodney of Port Angeles, Washington, and Norman of Sequim, Washington; a brother, Andrew of Le Mars; two sisters, Rena Gabel of Elida, Ohio, and Martha Siebens of Pompono Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nellie, and infant son, and infant daughter, four brothers, John, George, Chris, and Henry, a sister, Anna Taylor and two nephews, Alfred and Gerald Tone.
