Description	:	Obituary: Stella Rohde, 84, Eventide Nursing Center in Moorhead, formerly of Pettibone, died Tuesday at the Nursing Center. The funeral will be Saturday, 10:30a.m. in Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pettibone, with Mary Hinkle, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Pettibone Cemetery. Visitation begins Thursday at 1 p.m. in Eddy Funeral Home. Mrs. Rohde, the former Stella Johnson, was born Dec. 10, 1903, at Kiester, Minn., daughter of Gilbert and Sena (Gudvangen) Johnson. Visitation begins Thursday at 1 p.m. in Eddy Funeral Home. Mrs. Rohde, the former Stella Johnson, was born Dec. 10, 1903, at Kiester, Minn., daughter of Gilbert and Sena (Gudvangen) Johnson. In 1905 she moved to Grandville from Minnesota, and in 1908 she and her family moved to a homestead near Pettibone where she attended school. She was married to Zell Tripp in 1924 at Steele. He died in 1934. She and Robert Henry Rohde were married Aug. 21, 1935, at Steele. He died on Jan. 4, 1981. She had worked in the Pettibone school for a number of years and in 1979 moved to the Eventide Lutheran Nursing Center in Moorhead where her home had been since. She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church at Pettibone. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Otto (Erlis), Fargo, and Doris Gray, Syracuse, Ind.; five sons, Marlin Tripp, Cyrus Tripp, both of Pettibone; Sherwin Rohde, Albuquerque, N. Mex., Stanley Rohde, Mandan, and Dale Rohde, Anaheim, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and two brothers.
