Description	:	Steven Ralph Turley was born in St. Francois county, Missouri, on June 2, 1860, and passed away at his home in Farmington on March 24, 1925, at 11:15 p.m., aged 64 years, 9 months and 22 days. He was the youngest of a family of 12 children born to the late Aaron P. and Frances M. Turley. Only four of the family survive. They are Newton P. Read More	Steven Ralph Turley was born in St. Francois county, Missouri, on June 2, 1860, and passed away at his home in Farmington on March 24, 1925, at 11:15 p.m., aged 64 years, 9 months and 22 days. He was the youngest of a family of 12 children born to the late Aaron P. and Frances M. Turley. Only four of the family survive. They are Newton P. Turley, of Byhalia, Miss.; Mrs. Amanda Turley, of Paragould, Ark.; and Mrs. C.J. Fisher, of Bixby, Okla. He was united in marriage to Louisa Tullock, of Bismarck, Mo., on Sept. 14, 1892, and to this happy union three children were born, two preceding the father in death several years ago. The remaining son, Lovell L. Turley, and the wife are left to mourn the passing of their loved one. He united with the Baptist church while attending school in Farmington when a young man before his marriage and through all the years had remained a faithful member. After locating in Farmington he became a deacon in the church and taught the young men's class in the Sunday School which he was forced to discontinue when his health began to fail. When a young man he joined Farmington Masonic lodge, No. 123, and rose in Masonry to the rank of Knight Templar, 32nd degree and Shriner. Throughout his long illness he was patient and uncomplaining, manifesting the Christ spirit in death that had shone in him through life. Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon by his pastor, Rev. G.C. Greenway. Interment was in the Masonic cemetery where the Masons had charge of the services.
