Description	:	Susie McDonald, daughter of Mr and Mrs Andrew H. McDonald,passed away at her home Sunday morning and was laid to rest in the Bluff View Cemetery. Susie had not been in good health at any time in her life and althought the advice of the best specialists of the country was obtained, there seemed to be no medical skill that could prolong her life. Read More	Susie McDonald, daughter of Mr and Mrs Andrew H. McDonald,passed away at her home Sunday morning and was laid to rest in the Bluff View Cemetery. Susie had not been in good health at any time in her life and althought the advice of the best specialists of the country was obtained, there seemed to be no medical skill that could prolong her life. About two weeks ago she seemed to grow weaker and a weak heart with the whooping cough caused her death. Susie was born on Jan 13, 1908 and at the time of her death was 19 years and 16 days of age. She grew to womanhood in the Star Prairie community and received her education in the West Point school. She was a member of the United Brethren Sunday school and when her health would permit, she was in her place in the service of the church and was always a willing helper in the programs of the church. Besides her parents, she leaves to mourn her loss, one sister, Mary Fountain, of Lincoln, Neb; two brothers, Lee and Archie; one half-brother, Edward Keller, all of Vermillion; and two nephews, Franklin and Edward Fountain. Funeral services were conducted by Rev Hamilton of the United Brethren church from the Methodist church in Vermillion on Wednesday afternoon. She is buried in the Bluff View cemetery beside her parents.
