Waller had passed away at the hospital in Boone. She had been ailing and been confined to her bed for about four weeks and during that time everything that could be done for her recovery was done but in vain. Read More	Stratford Courier Thursday, Jan. 11, 1917 Obituary Waller Stratford and the entire surrounding community was saddened Saturday evening when the sad news was given out that Mrs. Carl W. Waller had passed away at the hospital in Boone. She had been ailing and been confined to her bed for about four weeks and during that time everything that could be done for her recovery was done but in vain. Last Friday morning she was taken to the hospital at Boone and underwent an operation. At this time hopes were held out for her recovery until Saturday evening when the death summons came. Teckla Elizabeth Peterson was born in Sweden, November 10, 1884, and was 32 years, 1 month, 27 days old on the day of her death. She migrated from Sweden with her parents in 1888 and was united in marriage to Carl W. Waller on November 10, 1904. Four children came to bless this union. They are Mildred, Floyd, Orville and Irene. They with a fond and loving husband, father and mother and two brothers, many other relatives and hosts of friends are left to mourn her untimely passing. She was always ready and willing to lend her assistance in benevolent work and was a faithful worker in the various societies of the Swedish Mission Church, of which she was a member. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, possessing a pleasing personality and a remarkable amount of patience during her lingering illness. The funeral services were held at the Mission Church in Swede Bend yesterday afternoon and were conducted by her pastor, Rev. William Cederholm, who paid a beautiful tribute to the memory of the departed one. The remains were laid to rest in the Swede Bend Cemetery.
