A short service was held at the Beushausen Mortuary and the Masons took charge of the services at the cemetery. Mr. Wilson was buried beside his wife who died several years ago. Theodore D. A short service was held at the Beushausen Mortuary and the Masons took charge of the services at the cemetery. Mr. Wilson was buried beside his wife who died several years ago. Theodore D. Wilson was born in Platteville, Wisconsin, October 3, 1850, and departed this life at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Paige, in Mitchell, Nebraska, March 21, 1935, being 81 years 5 months and 18 days of age. Mr. Wilson grew to manhood in the family home in Wisconsin. On October 2, 1874 he was married to Elizabeth Carus [sic], at Georgetown, Wisconsin. In 1875 he and his bride moved to Williams, Iowa where he was a merchant for five years. In 1880 they moved to a farm in Sherman county, Nebraska and in later years retired from the farm and moved to Loup City. Here Mrs. Wilson died in 1917 and in 1918 Mr. Wilson went to Morrill, Nebr., to be among his children. Mr. Wilson leaves in deep bereavement two daughters, Mrs. Eva Sutton of Lyman, Mrs. Myrtie Paige of Mitchell, and one son Theo Clyde Wilson of Morrill. Mrs. Emma Currier, a daughter, died in 1912. Mr. Wilson has 13 living grand children and five great grand children. One nephew, Will Marvel, who was raised in the family, now lives at Cuba City, Wis. Mr. Wilson has four living neices [sic] and six nephews. Mr. Wilson was the last of a family of five brothers and three sisters. He first joined the church by uniting with the Christian church when a young man in Wisconsin. He kept his interest and membership in the church in the different communities in which he lived. His membership has been in the Presbyterian church of Morrill, since going there. He has been a lifelong member of the Masonic lodge. The Sherman County Times - Mar 29 1935
