Edward Webb who died Friday in Peninsula General Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Webb was 75. Edward Webb who died Friday in Peninsula General Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Webb was 75. He had been the owner of the Webb Packing Co. on Truitt St., in Salisbury until sale of the business three years ago to Dutterer of Manchester. The firm had been in Salisbury since 1930 when it was moved from Crisfield where his late father, T. Jefferson Webb, had founded it. Mr. Webb had been president of the Marine Bank of Crisfield for 31 years before his retirement in December of last year. He had been a Mason for 51 years and a member of Lodge 147, AF and AM, at Crisfield, and he was a past president and honorary member of the Rotary Club here. He was a 32nd degree Mason. Mr. Webb, who lived at 509 N. Division St., was a member of Bethesda Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nina Tawes Webb; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Elzey and a grandson, of Chestertown; seven brothers and sisters, Mrs. Alma J. Dickinson and Granville Webb, both of Salisbury; Mrs. Mary Sterling, Jefferson Webb and Mrs. Geneva Ennis, all of Crisfield; Mrs. Elsie Bozman, Washington, and Murray J. Webb, Wilmington, Del. There were viewings at the funeral home Saturday after 7:30 o'clock and Sunday an hour before the funeral services which were conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Rose of Bethesda.
