McKelvey was born May 26, 1899 on a farm near Wolbach to Charles Edward and Emma May McKelvey and passed away at Memorial Hospital at St. Paul, Nebr. on Oct. 29, 1963 at the age of 64 years, 5 months and 3 days. Most of his life was spent on the farm where he was born except for some years when he worked as chef at Fullerton, Shelby and Central City. McKelvey was born May 26, 1899 on a farm near Wolbach to Charles Edward and Emma May McKelvey and passed away at Memorial Hospital at St. Paul, Nebr. on Oct. 29, 1963 at the age of 64 years, 5 months and 3 days. Most of his life was spent on the farm where he was born except for some years when he worked as chef at Fullerton, Shelby and Central City. He was also an antique collector and spent much of his time after his health began to fail, beautifying pieces for his home. He had been in failing health for a time. He leaves to mourn his passing three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Knudsen of Grand Island, where for the last few months he made his home, Mrs. Inez McIntyre of Wolbach and Mrs. Mildred Richards of Oroville, Calif. Also 10 nieces and nephews and 31 grand-nieces and nephews besides other relatives and many friends who will miss him. His mother and father preceded him in death.
