She passed away the 25th of November, 1973 at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 6 days. Read More	From The Wolbach Messenger, November 29, 1973, transcribed by Linda Berney: Inez Margaret McIntyre was born April 19, 1894 on a farm in Nance County to Charles Edward and Emma Mae McKelvey. She passed away the 25th of November, 1973 at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 6 days. Inez was united in marriage to John William McIntyre on March 5, 1916 and to this union four children were born: Margaret Irene McVey of Raymond, Washington, Thomas William of Cedar Rapids, John Jr. of Wolbach and Jennie Lee Dooley of Lamar, Colorado. John and Inez farmed for most of their married life in the Wolbach area. She received her elementary education in Nance County, attended Wolbach High School and later Kearney State Teachers College. Mrs. McIntyre was a rural school teacher for 37 years but due to illness she was forced to retire. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Wolbach, the Happy Hour Club and Four Mile Extension Club. Inez was a happy, energetic person and even in her illness she found a great joy in making others happy. She kept her joyous spirit to the very end. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and four children, 23 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Knudsen of Grand Island and Mrs. Mildred Richards of Oroville, California, many relatives and large number of friends. Preceding in death were her parents and one brother, Thomas.
