Caddy was born at Strawberry Point, Iowa, October 31, 1867, being 68 years and five days of age at the time of his death. At the age of 15 he moved to Bartlett, Nebr., with his family and in 1905 he moved from Albion in Loup City. On April 5, 1889 he was married to Lizzetta Mae Atwood of Albion. To this union six children were born. Two preceded him in death, one boy in infancy, and Mrs. Otto Obermiller, who passed away March, 1929. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and three sons, Nelson, Tom Jr., and Frank and one daughter, Mrs. Belle Garner, all of Loup City. Two brothers, Joe and Will of Loup City, and two sisters, Mrs. Dolly Lyman of Palmyra, Nebr. and Mrs. Hannah Ohler of Golden City, Mo., and nineteen grandchildren in Loup City.
