Description	:	PINNACLE, NC ~ Mr. Thomas William "Bill" Cain, known as "Popsy" to his grandchildren, 72, of Pinnacle, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born in Surry County on Aug. 18, 1934 to the late John Sidney and Bertie Mary Moorefield Cain. Mr. Cain worked for the City of Winston-Salem in the Transportation Department and was a member of Harvest Temple Church. Mr. Cain worked for the City of Winston-Salem in the Transportation Department and was a member of Harvest Temple Church. Mr. Cain is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Bonnie Cain; two daughters: Sandra Cain of Mount Airy, Brenda and husband Travis Kincaid of Dobson; two brothers: John "Jay" Sidney Cain Jr. of King, and Wade Aldeen Cain of Mount Airy; a sister, Beatrice Tucker of King; and five grandchildren: Emma, Melissa and Danny Simons, Michael Lester and Emerald Cain. Mr. Cain was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Arthur "Ott" and "Bob" Kenneth Gray Cain; and three sisters: Ruby Cain Cranfield, Stella Cain Phillips and Lena Cain Cowick. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Robbie D. Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Feb. 15, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home and other times at the Cain home. Special thanks to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center in the oncology department and also to Northern Hospital of Surry County.
