He and his brother Wheeler Webster came to Nebraska in 1884. His father, mother, and other members of the family followed in 1888. Read More	William Webster, son of Thomas and Nancy Webster was born at Olean, Indiana., January 18, 1860, and passed away at Gibbon, Nebraska., May 28, 1937, aged 77 years, 4 months, 10 days. He and his brother Wheeler Webster came to Nebraska in 1884. His father, mother, and other members of the family followed in 1888. Mr. Webster spent the greater portion of his life in Gibbon township. He was engaged in farming, and continued to work until failing health forced him to retire from the farm and move to Gibbon, March 1, 1937. His sister, Mrs. Sarah Johnston has been taking care of him since he moved to Gibbon. She has shown him every kindness and faithfully ministered to his every need. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and four brothers. He leaves to mourn his passing, two brothers, Corbin Webster of Kearney, and Harrison Webster of Gibbon, three sisters, Mrs. Indiana Huntington of Friendship, Indiana, Mrs. Sarah E. Johnston of Gibbon, Mrs. Adeline Cunningham of Honolulu, Hawaiian Islands, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Webster was a man of strict integrity, and he was sincere and dependable. He was industrious, and always rendered his services cheerfully and willingly. His passing will be sincerely regretted by his many friends. Rec. C.M. Thomas was in charge of the funeral services, which were held at the Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Riverside cemetery. The Gibbon Reporter June 3, 1937 Page 1, Column 1 Thomas William Webster went by his middle name William. His grave is unmarked. He is buried behind the large headstone of his parents Thomas and Nancy Webster.
