Read More	Havre Daily News (MT), 19 Sept 1941 Mrs. Thora Johnson, 80, Found Dead At Farm Near Havre Mrs. Thora Johnson, 80, widow of the late Borger Johnson of the north Havre area, was found dead Thursday morning in a large cistern on the farm home of her son-in-law, LeRoy Hamblock, five miles north of Havre. The aged woman had been making her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Hamblock. The small children whose room she shared, said their grandmother got up about 5 o'clock and they went back to sleep. When they arose sometime later in the morning, the children reported the grandmother was not in bed. A search was made and representatives of the sheriff's office were called. The body was finally found in the cistern about 9 o'clock. Mrs. Thora Johnson was born in Rio, Wis., Aug. 17, 1851. She was married to Borger Johnson, who died Sept. 6, 1934. They had come to Hill county about 13 years ago. For the last two years Mrs. Johnson had made her home with her daughter. Surviving her are four sons, Oscar and Milton, Havre; James of Auburn, Wash.; and Berl of Iron Mountain, Mich.; six daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Hamblock and Mrs. Gilbert Urness of Havre; Mrs. Cora Wilbrecht of Clark Falls, Wis.; Mrs. Anton Hanson, Hallock, Minn.; Mrs. Martin Jesness and Mrs. Hans Hovee of Foston, Minn.; 28 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Other survivors are two brothers, T.W. Tangen of Hazel Run, Minn., and Martin Tangen of Taylor Falls, Minn.; and a sister, Mrs. Hans Danielson, Hazel Run, Minn.
