She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Edward George, Jr.; a daughter, Martha Rae George; two brothers, Harland Reams and Hugh Reams; two sisters, Hollice Sanders and Audra Hinebaugh. Born March 9, 1914, in Swallow Falls, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert Newton and Daisy (Hauger) Reams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Edward George, Jr.; a daughter, Martha Rae George; two brothers, Harland Reams and Hugh Reams; two sisters, Hollice Sanders and Audra Hinebaugh. Una was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren. She is survived by two sons, William A. George, Sr. and wife, Sandra, Ridgley, WV; Thomas Newton George and wife, Cheryl, Oakland; three daughters, Donna Marie Beachy and husband, Robert, Oakland; Barbara Ann McLaughlin, Apollo, PA; Caroline E. Perando and husband, Bud, Oakland; two sisters, Adra Hinebaugh and Nina Reams, both of Oakland; 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland on Saturday, July 5, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Interment will be in the Taylor Sines Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad or to the Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad.
