The Huebner Funeral Home in Schleswig is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bliesmann was born Oct. 4, 1916 in Morgan Township, Schleswig, the daughter of Jacob and Agnes (Grell) Volkmann. She received her education at the Schleswig Community School, graduating in 1935. She married Walter Bliesmann on Aug. 25, 1937 at Schleswig. They settled on the family farm north of Schleswig. He died in 1994. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Schleswig. She moved to Ida Grove in 1994 to be near her family. She enjoyed reading. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann and her husband Allen Schultz of Ida Grove; one son and his wife, Wayne and Ina Mae of Ida Grove; two grandchildren, Christine Comstock and her husband Doug of Denison and Michael of Boone; one sister, Luella Thul of Schleswig and other relative and friends.
