Mr. Ford was born June 21, 1912 in Fayette, the son of Alvah and Iva (Taylor) Ford. On July 21, 1932 he married the former Fern Harter in LaGrange, Ind. He was a resident of Coldwater for the last 50 years, moving from Indiana. In 1971 he retired as a truck driver for Foundries Materials Corporation. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 1907 in Coldwater and the Teamsters Union. Survivors include his wife, Fern; one son, Victor Ford Jr. of Niles; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Ann Foglesong of Bryan, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one sister.' (Note: His Lagrange Co., Indiana marriage record says he was born in 1911)
