Description	:	Virginia Herbert, called Jennie by her family, was the third daughter and sixth child of John and Lettice Briggs Herbert. Jennie was born March 19th, 1851 in Ohio. She spent her entire, much too short life, on the family farm. She died May 20th, 1872 in Corydon, Wayne County, Iowa. As her brother, Solon, had died just the year before of TB, I strongly suspect it's what took her too. Her obituary confirms that fact. She was only 21, he was only 23.
