Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. today In the Methodist church at Dolliver, the Rev. Carver, pastor of the church, officiating. Fedderson scratched his hand on a barbed wire fence two weeks ago while working for a neighbor, Will Mitchel. While he was suffering from blood poisoning he contracted pneumonia, which resulted in his death. The Fedderson farm is located about seven mile north of Armstrong. Birtus is the oldest boy in a large family. Dolliver and Vicinity The community extends sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Feddersen in the loss of their son, Virtus. Funeral services were held at the church Thursday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. M.L. Carver. Virtus Raymond Feddersen was born May 21, 1910, at Miles, Iowa, in Jackson County. When a babe he came with his parents to this vicinity. He was the oldest of a large family of children and had worked at home until this Spring being 21 years of age. He has been employed at the Will Mitchell home. From an injury to one of his fingers, infection set in. He seemed on the road to recovery when pneumonia developed and he passed away July 2, aged 21 years and to months. He was baptized September 6, 1910, at the Ev. Lutheran parsonage at Lyon.
