Read More	IS FOUND DEAD IN HIS BED RESIDENT HERE MANY YEARS DIES ALONE AT HIS FARM HOME-IS FOUND BY HIS NEIGHBORS Wade Lenz Gaskill, for nearly sixty year a resident of Villisca and vicinity, was found dead in bed Sunday morning at 9:30 o’clock at his home two miles southeast of Villisca, his death resulting from a heart attack. It is believed he had been dead several hours when found. Mr. Gaskill was in Villisca Saturday and at that time was enjoying his usual good health, though that evening when he left the home of August Jacobson, a neighbor whom he had visited, to return to his own home, he complained of not feeling well. Upon his arrival at home he locked his house and retired. When he did not see Mr. Gaskill about his place as usual Sunday morning, Mr. Jacobson went to the Gaskill home but found the doors locked and he was unable to get any response to his calls. He summoned neighbors, but they decided to call a physician before entering the house, and Dr. J. C. Cooper was called, who entered the house and found the lifeless body of Mr. Gaskill. The body was brought to the Fessler & Sutphen Funeral Home. Wade Lensy Gaskill was born 4 Jan 1864 Leon, Decatur, IA. He was the son of Samuel and Amanda Leach Gaskill. He came to Villisca when he was 6 years old. Mr. Gaskill was born near Leon, Iowa, on January 4, 1864 and was 64 years old at his death. He came to Villisca with his parents when he was six years old and lived here continuously from that time until his death. He was married to Lenora Craighead at Villisca and to this union three daughters were born. They are Mrs. Cliff Barber of Newell, South Dakota, Mrs. P. R. Moyer of Villisca, and Mrs. William Kamroth of Hartley, Iowa. His wife preceded him in death seventeen years ago. besides his children, he leaves also his twin brother, John of Villisca, a brother Frank of Woodward, Iowa, and two sisters, Mrs. Chas Kimbrough of Hammond, Indiana and Mrs. Nellie Moore of Omaha. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock in the Methodist Church with Rev. Geo. A. Lawton in charge of the service. The singing was by Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Davie, with Miss Erma Edwards at the organ and the pall bearers were A. J. Wertman, Glenn Robe, Joe Gourley, Fred Stinemates, Martin Enarson, and Sherman Edenfield.
