The deceased was the daughter of the late Harm Folkers of Wayne. She was born in that township on the 24th of March 1871, and was married in March 1890, to Herman Rickels. Read More	SOURCE: THE MONTICELLO EXPRESS....PAGE 5....FEBRUARY 1,1906 Mrs. Lena Mary Rickels, the wife of Mr. Herman Rickels of Wayne Township, died at her home yesterday, the 31st ult., after a severe illness of several weeks duration, at the age of 34 years, 10 months and 7 days. The deceased was the daughter of the late Harm Folkers of Wayne. She was born in that township on the 24th of March 1871, and was married in March 1890, to Herman Rickels. She is survived by her husband and five children, three boys and two girls. Mrs. Rickels was a devoted wife and mother. She found her duty in the home, and she did it well and conscientiously. She embraced the doctrines of the Lutheran church in the days of her youth, and lived in the faith that says that there may be another meeting with the husband and children she found it so hard to leave. Mr. Rickels and the mourning children have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends. Rev.C. Mardorf will conduct the funeral services next Saturday at 11 o'clock at the German Lutheran church.
