Kyle and Chastina Daily, was born August 5, 1906 in Simmons, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, April 6, 1977 following a brief illness at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. On December 25, 1929, he united in marriage with Thelma Stoops and to this union eight children were born, Ilida Huddleson, Loeita Kennedy, Wilfred (Bill) Kyle, and Raymond Kyle, all of Omaha, and Norman Kyle of Blair, Nebraska. Kyle and Chastina Daily, was born August 5, 1906 in Simmons, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, April 6, 1977 following a brief illness at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. On December 25, 1929, he united in marriage with Thelma Stoops and to this union eight children were born, Ilida Huddleson, Loeita Kennedy, Wilfred (Bill) Kyle, and Raymond Kyle, all of Omaha, and Norman Kyle of Blair, Nebraska. Three children preceded in in passing. On December 14 1942, he married Carmon McConkey of Sidney, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Marilyn Sila of Tacoma, Washington, Frederick Kyle of Council Bluffs, and Dennis Kyle of Malvern. Fred, as he was known to his family and friends, was a veteran of WW 2 and served on the USS Salinas. In 1974, he retired after 12 years of service at Tip Top Products in Omaha. He enjoyed gardening and taking long walks about the town and countryside. Among those living who will always love and remember him are his wife, Carmon; a half brother, George Pierce of Knoxville; his sons, Bill, Ray, Norman, Fred, and Dennis; his daughters, Ilda, Loeita, and Marilyn; 28 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 9, 1977, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church at Malvern with the Rev. Howard Mace of Cozad, Nebraska officiating. Music for the service was furnished by organist, Mildred McConkey, who accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Evelyn Mace of Cozad, Nebraska, as she sang, “Lord I Am Coming Home” and “He Touched Me”. Military grave side rites were conducted by the Iowa National Guard. Pall bearers were Raburn Benton, Forrest Hatfield, Lentz Powles, Terry Harris, James Ford, and Dale LaCombe. The registry book was taken care of by Mrs. Terry Harris. Ushers were Gordon Mulholland and Darrell Frederickson and the flower ladies were Mrs. Raburn Benton and Mrs. James Ford.
