Russow, 79, of Route 4 Monticello, passed away at the Monticello Nursing Home at 7:40 pm Sunday where she had been a patient for some time. She had been in failing health since August. Mrs. Russow had been a resident of the Monticello community for 46 years, coming here from Illinois. Born March 1, 1882 in Livingston County, Illinois, she was the daughter of William and Louise (Sanford) Gebeke. Mrs. Russow had been a resident of the Monticello community for 46 years, coming here from Illinois. Born March 1, 1882 in Livingston County, Illinois, she was the daughter of William and Louise (Sanford) Gebeke. On December 22, 1904, she was married to Edward Russow who passed away March 24, 1946. She was a member of the Monticello Methodist Church, the Anna Chaffin Circle of the church, and a member of the Union Twp Home Demonstration Club. She was also a member of the March Birthday Club of Idaville and was its oldest member. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Helen Russow with whom she made her home, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her son, Melvin Russow preceded her in death. Four brothers and four sisters also survive, William Gebeke of Amenia; Roy at Arthur and Louis at Fargo, all North Dakota; and Wallace of Otterbein, Minnesota; Mrs. Florence Dorre of Three Forks, Montana; Mrs. Frona Yard of Callaway and Mrs. Dena Green of Eagle Bend, both Minnesota; and Mrs. Dona Tate of Hood River, Oregon. Bob Hunter now living in Seymour, was reared in the Russow Home and lived with them for a number of years. Funeral services will be held at Miller Funeral home tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2pm with the Rev. Joseph Hornick officiating. Burial will be in Riverview. Friends may call at the Miller funeral home after 7 pm tonight, Monday.
