Description	:	In 1861 he and his parents and six siblings lived on a farm in the Tecumseh (now New Tecumseh) area in Simcoe County in what was then called Canada West, now Ontario. In 1871 he and his mother and five siblings--all but John and Thomas--lived on a farm in Egremont Township (since 2000 part of Southgate Township), Grey County, ON. Read More	In 1861 he and his parents and six siblings lived on a farm in the Tecumseh (now New Tecumseh) area in Simcoe County in what was then called Canada West, now Ontario. In 1871 he and his mother and five siblings--all but John and Thomas--lived on a farm in Egremont Township (since 2000 part of Southgate Township), Grey County, ON. In 1880 his brother Robert, his wife, their four children, and he lived on a farm in Grand Forks County, Dakota Territory. In 1900 he and his wife and their seven children lived on a farm they owned, with a mortgage, in Levant Township, Grand Forks County, ND. Also shown living with them were six boarders, three of whom were his brother Robert and Robert's sons Robert and Thomas. They must have just been visiting, because two days later they were counted in the census in Minto, ND. In 1920 he and Sarah and their daughter Anna lived on a farm they owned in Inverness School District 28, Hill County, MT. Their son William lived on the farm next to them, and their son Robert, his wife, and their daughter on the farm on the other side of William. In 1930 he, his wife, their son Wesley, and his wife lived there on the farm. They did have a radio. -------------- Great Falls Tribune (MT), 4 Nov 1936: William A. Woods Dies at Inverness Inverness, Nov. 3--Funeral services were held here Sunday for the late William A. Woods, with burial at Highland Cemetery, Havre. Mr. Woods was born at Tottenham, Ont., in 1855, and had been a resident of the United States since 1879, when he settled near Grand Forks, N. D. Later he moved to Vegeville, Alta.--at that time 125 miles from a railroad, but in 1911 he moved to this vicinity and resided here until his death last week. Surviving relatives include his wife, Sarah Woods; three sons, Clifton of Inverness, Roscoe of Warwick, Alta., Robert of Lavoy, Alta.; and three daughters, Mrs. A. Blackie of Edmonton; Mrs. Howard Schultz of Inverness, and Mrs. Anna L. Woods of Shelby. In addition, there are two brothers, James Woods of Mount Forest, Ont., and Robert Woods of Grand Forks, N. D.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
