Description	:	William Bailey Callicoat, 91, of Ellsworth Ridge, Willow Wood, died at 11 o'clock yesterday evening at a daughters residence, Mrs. Thelma Wilson. He was born May 28, 1888 in Polkadotte, a son of the late William and Elizabeth Roach Callicoat. He spent all of his life in the Lawrence County area on Greasy Ridge where he was the farmer and was a member of the New Zion United Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pluma Capper in 1929; later married Blanche Wilson who also preceded him in death.... He was born May 28, 1888 in Polkadotte, a son of the late William and Elizabeth Roach Callicoat. He spent all of his life in the Lawrence County area on Greasy Ridge where he was the farmer and was a member of the New Zion United Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pluma Capper in 1929; later married Blanche Wilson who also preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons, Carter Callicoat of Columbus, Harold Callicoat of Marysville and Dale Callicoat of Ironton; six daughters, Mrs. Othella Dornon of Willow Wood, Mrs. Thelma Wilson, with whom he resided, Mrs. Rosalee Anderson of Marysville, Mrs. Phyllis Booth of New Jersey, Mrs. Olena Wilson of Pedro and Betty Jo Vinning of Delaware, Ohio; two step-children, Lona Hoover of Columbus and Garland Wilson of Ironton; 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Holderby and the Rev. Cleo Watson officiating. Burial in the Perkins Ridge Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home between 6 and 10 p.m. Saturday.
